We have engaged the services of Rod Parker and Jon Jones as tutors for the next few months for the pipe band.
More advanced playing members will join in from 6:30.
Rod Parker is a piping judge, still plays and places in competition, has started a few good bands so he will be invaluable to us - he also taught Barry Gray. I have asked him to help us prepare for the next competition in October with a view to improving our standard with hopes we can go to New Zealand next year for fun and their national competition.
New learners from 5:30 to 6:30 with Tutors from CCPB.
Rod will take the advanced learners Pipers from 6:00 to 6:30
From 6:30pm onwards the drum tutor will be Jon Jones or Owen Dive if John cannot make it. Jon Jones was instrumental as our first drum sergeant and his top grade championship drumming background greatly benefited our newly formed band.
Practice finishes at 8.30pm

Learner drummers will be taught from 5:30 to 6:30pm by CCPB members.
